Charming cottage #chezléon

Why #chezléon? It’s very simple: first of all, this building, though made of stone, is an old pigsty where Olivier’s grandparents raised a dozen or so pigs. Some of these pigs were self-consumed, while the rest were probably sold at the market. Incidentally, in my childhood memories, I had a book whose hero was a pig named Léon: Léon le cochon! Hence #chezléon.

Spacious, bright, warm, cosy: these are the words that describe this cozy home surrounded by greenery.

The wood-burning stove will warmly enhance your winter evenings.
Audio equipment is available to put you in a musical mood.

You will appreciate the proportions of this gîte, which offers a very comfortable living space.

We chose to make the most of the existing stone walls. The exterior walls were covered with a lime-hemp rendering (the hemp is produced on the farm).

The gîte can accommodate 1 to 6 people. It comprises :

A large 50 m² living/dining room

A fully fitted and equipped kitchen

One bedroom with 1 double bed (160*200).
Here you’ll find a soft, elegant setting. This room is on the first floor. We can easily accommodate a cot. You’ll also find plenty of storage: closets, drawer units. Large wooden planks act as headboards: a mineral atmosphere!

A bedroom with 1 x 160*200 bed in a “pigeonnier” style.
You’ll be in “cocooning” mode in this cosy space. A large metal skylight overlooks the living room.

A room with 2 single beds 90*200 :
you’ll have your head in the stars. For your comfort, we have deliberately chosen large single beds (90*200) that can be occupied by both children and adults.

A shower room… with a spacious walk-in shower.
A small feature that often surprises our guests: a curved metal sheet delimits the shower, limiting water splashes.

A covered terrace at the entrance to the house.
Summer and winter alike, you’ll love this converted space.
